Buses from Syracuse Hancock International Airport with Bus Routes and Times

When arriving at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), please make sure to collect all personal luggage from the baggage claim area before proceeding to your choice of transfer from the airport. Available options of transfer include rental cars and taxis.

Buses at SYR

The local bus system in Syracuse, Centro, does not operate any bus routes to or from Syracuse Airport. They do however operate the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center located a few miles from the airport, only a 15 minute walk from Destiny USA, the giant mall, in Syracuse. Downtown Syracuse can be reached by a single bus ride of 15-20 minutes from the Transportation Center.

Trailways Buses at SYR

Trailways provides a bus service at SYR Airport with routes Syracuse, Destiny USA as well as the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center, but only with one or two departures per day. More information can be found on their website. https://trailways.com/

The Trailways bus stop is located outside Terminal A.

Amtrak Buses at SYR

Amtrak provides buses twice a day from the airport to the William F. Walsh Transportation Center.

OurBus at SYR

OurBus also provides bus routes at the airport, but buses do not depart to Syracuse.

Greyhound Buses at SYR

Greyhound has routes that serve the airport with destinations within the state of New York.

There is also a Greyhound station at the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center.

Hotel Shuttles – Some hotels offer an airport shuttle service so their guests can transfer to and from the airport with ease and in a convenient way. Some hotels offer it as a complimentary service, others at an additional charge. Hotel shuttles are found outside each of the terminals. All arrangements are made through the hotels.
