Train Transfers To and From Syracuse Hancock Airport

Once you have arrived at Syracuse Hancock International Airport, please collect your luggage from the baggage claim area before proceeding with the chosen option of transfer from the airport. Available options are rental cars, taxis and buses, depending on the final destination of the journey.

Trains at Syracuse Airport

Syracuse Airport does not have a train station on the premises, but there is an Amtrak Station located a few miles/km from the airport at the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center, and Amtrak provides buses between the airport and the Transportation Center as does Trailways. There are, however, only a couple of departures from or to the airport each day.

The bus stop is located outside Terminal A.

If there is no bus for the transfer to the Transportation Center where the Amtrak depart from there is the option of taxi or rideshare transfers.

The Amtrak Station in Syracuse is served by the Empire Service, Lake Shore Limited as well as the Maple Leaf routes.
